Individual project, Wuhan, China
In Wuhan, China, the first epicenter of the pandemic, the government swiftly built many makeshift hospitals to accommodate infected patients, including the first one, Huoshenshan Hospital. The hospital's construction brought hope during the pandemic. However, after the Covid, these isolation hospitals are largely unecessary and facing demolition.
The purpose of the project intend to use Huoshenshan hospital as a place of remembrance and healing for citizens who have lost loved ones in the pandemic.
